In the year 1498 the Caribbean Island of Margarita has been discovered by Cristopher Columbus. Almost 500 years later a little windy Fishervillage in the south of that perls Island has been discovered again, by Windsport fanatics. With no Infrastructure at all the Windsurfers started to invaded the small Community and made it grow pretty fast. A Mainroad and the first Hotels were built quickly and more space for Windsurfers created. The Golden times and tourism had started, in short time 8 Windsurf Centers were built at the small sandy Beach and everything went very well. But like always in life also worse times had to come, new windy winterdestinations opened their doors and became attractive for a while, criminality and hygenic problems grew and tourists decided to take a break.

Good to see Hotels, Stores and Centers learnt in bad times and indeed improved and solved the problems. So one thing was missing in a now clean and safe Caribbean Windsurf Destination : A Newspaper with all Information possible you could get, so here we are !
