The 21 year old El Yaque Local Jose Gregorio Estredo Perez, better known as Gollito Estredo is the actual 2010 Freestyle Worldchampion. Already for the fourth time he won, as one of the most innovative and dominating Windsurfers worldwide, the Worldchampion Title of the Professional Windsurfers Associaton PWA (www.pwaworldtour.com )
Ricardo Campello
One of worlds most radical Windsurfers in Freestyle and Waves, pushing the limits whenever he´s sailing. The Brasilian who started windsurfing at his new home El Yaque is three times PWA Freestyle Worldchampion and also on a good way to get more titles in Waveriding as well.
Yoli de Brendt
The Margaritanian girl, who started windsurfing at the age of 26 in Playa El Yaque and decided to skip her career in a Venezuelan Bank to become Pro Windsurfer. After only a couple of years in the Windsurf Business she´s Vice Worldchampion on the PWA Worldtour.
Diony Guadagnino
The first famous El Yaque Windsurfer who started the Freestyle hype in the small Fishervillage by winning one of worlds biggest Freestyle Events, the King of the Lake at Lake Garda in Italy. Now Diony is training hard at his second home Maui Hawaii to become one of worlds best Waveriders and Slalom pilots.
Aquiles Zabala
The 25 year old El Yaque Local Aquiles Zabala is one of Venezuelas best and most succesful Kitesurfers. Aquiles has been one of the first to take the chance learning Kitesurfing when the sport arrived at the village of El Yaque ten years ago. An impressive and succesful career as professional Kitesurfer in Venezuela and latin america followed.
Douglas "Cheo" Diaz
The 24 year old venezuelan was one of the El Yaque Young Guns, who invaded the PWA Pro Windsurf Circuit together with Diony Guadagnino, Ricardo campello and Alexis Zabala to rule the Freestyle world for some years and by winning the Tarifa and Lanzarote PWA Competitions and finishing the 2005 Season as vice Worldchampion he also wrote history in Windsurfing.
Colette Guadagnino
Colette Guadagnino was the first girl showing her great potential to the windsurfing world in all disciplines, Wave, Freestyle and Slalom and her hard Training was crowned with her PWA Freestyle Worldchampion Title in 2002
Alexis Carache V 1111
El Yaque Local Alexis Carache is one of El Yaque´s first Windsurfers, starting his Windsurfing at the Sharks Center in El Yaque, where he became a good Freestyler in the beginning but fast changed to his passion, Slalom Windsurfing.
