The first two weeks of February have been the first two without rain this season and some pretty nice windy days, more life at the beach, more tourists especially from France and Canada and so also more action at the Beach, in the Restaurants and Bars. 1498 El Yaque News got the Images of those first two weeks for you, see pics of the week

Top Reggae at El Yaque Beach

Saturday the 19th of February the 2011 Reggae Fest will take place at CANOA in El Yaque. Not even one year ago the CANOA Restaurant and Bar opened its doors and since than is responsable for some of the biggest Parties and Events at El Yaque Beach. This Saturday some of Venezuela finest Reggae Bands like Negus Crew, Guayoyo, Shalom Vibration and more will celebrate Reggae Music and all people in El Yaque are invited to join the Fest. The Canoa Restaurant at the windward side of El Yaque Beach, right in front of the Kite Launching Area certainly will Reggae Rock the Beach, starting time is at 5 p.m.

El Yaque back alive

Not only on the water, where the wind has been back already a while ago and the action could finally begin, also at the beach and in the Village life is back. With Carnaval coming closer the music groups use the beach for their practises and the El Yaque Bars always find a reason for Parties and nice Chill Out Events. THis Sunday the Ipanema Beach Bar started its Love Party as preparation for Valentines Day. On Valentines Day the party certainly will continue

It took a long time, many ups and downs, lots of very we days and nights, but now it is here, the wind has arrived at normal strength in El Yaque and after a couple of strong wind days the forecasts look just better and better. People coming two El Yaque the first time and witnessing the rain in the past here, now start to ask if this is the true El Yaque and actually it is, at least it is the start

Cafe Local invites for Beach celebration

Saturday night El Yaque Beach will loose its colours for a massive Black and White Party at the Cafe Local in front of the Beach Hotela and the VELA Windsurf Resort. Tickets for the all you can eat Thai night at Cafe Local need to be bought in advance at Cafe Local or with Nancy Tyree at Posada Casa Perla. After the Thai food Dinner the big Party will start at the same location, theme Black and White, so get the brightest and darkest closing together for this very special night at El Yaque Beach
