Gollito Estredo wins at the Canary Island

It has been the fifth PWA Windsurf Freestyle Windsurf Worldcup in 2011 but the first time in many years with only one venezuelan competing. Of course four times and actual Worldchampion didn´t want to miss the 2011 edition of the Lanzarote Worldcup as he could win at this place already four times before, but the rest of the venezuelan Freestylers decided to skip this one and vice women Worldchampion Yoli de Brendt got no chance to compete as it was a men only Event.

The Worldcups at the Canary Islands are well known for its strong winds and waves....

Venezuelan Six Pack at PWA Grand Slam Aruba 2011

Quite some Freestyle and Slalom Worldcups have been sailed by now in the 2011 PWA (Professional Windsurfers Association) Tour, so while El Yaque Local and Wave vice Worldchampion Ricardo Campello is still waiting for his first Competition which is about to start at Gran Canaria beginning of July, a venezuelan SixPack went to the caribbean Island of Aruba to fight for honours in Freestyle and Slalom at the 2011 PWA Aruba Grand Slam, between July 19th and 26th. Four times and actual Freestyle Worldchampion Gollito Estredo, Deivis Paternina and women vice Worldchampion Yoli de Brendt softened their little Freestyle Fins and got their Toys ready for the Freestyle battle, while Diony Guadagnino, Juan Marino and Colette Guadagnino, who competed for the first time after a couple of years Worldcup absence, got their Race Machines ready for some hot Slalom Races. see full report and images.....

For the Top of the top men in the Freestyle windsurfing world the PWA Bonaire Freestyle Worldcup has been already Stopp three of the 2011 Worldtour... for the women it was Competition number one.
