Halloween tradition opens El Yaque Season

The katholic and celtic tradition, which was brought from the Irish to America, and celebrated the day before All Hallows or All Saints Day and got its roots in the celtic festival of Samhain. But when for the Celtics the darker side of the year began with Samhain, in El Yaque the windy season for all Windsurfers and Kitesurfers starts, with most Clubs, Cafes and Restaurants reopening their doors in the week after Halloween, even though there is no real connection....  Maybe the lighter and brighter side starts for El Yaque, especially with the Hurricane Season going to its end and the rainy season slowing down

Dark clowds are getting closer

The tropical Storm called Tomas is increasing as the forecasts predicted while it is moving west north west into the Caribbean Sea. In the early mornings of this Saturday first it looked as the massive Storm would pass the Island of Margarita much further away than expected, but at midday the first dark clowds arrived at the Island and also Satellite Images showed the big spinning clowd much closer to the venezuelan coast.
