Overall Trophies for El Yaque Locals Gollito Estredo, Yoli de Brendt and Ricardo Campello

It should have been the big Showdown for the Windsurf Elite of the 2011 PWA Worldcup Season at the 2011 Reno Surf Worldcup Sylt in Germany, the biggest Event on the Tour for many years. El Yaque Locals and heroes Ricardo Campello and Gollito Estredo were ready to give those crowds a massive show in Waveriding and Freestyle. Unluckily the only sunny summer week of the 2011 german sumer arrived right for this Event, nice for the people at the beach but bad for the Contest, as nice sunny weather at the german coast means no wind and so it was just way too calm for some kind of Competition, until the Jet Ski was put into the North Sea to tow the Freestyle and Wave Sailors into some spectacular Moves. King of the Tow Inn Sessions during this week became Gollito Estredo, who managed to win 3 out of 4 Tow Inn Sessions.

The week was crowned with crowns. The worldtitle trophies were handed out at Sylt and three venezuelans were standing on the podium :

Yoli de Brendt as third in women Freestye
